NameSilo Review 2026: The No-Nonsense Registrar
NameSilo will not win any design awards. But if you want cheap domains with consistent renewal pricing and zero marketing manipulation, it reliably delivers.
Flat Registration = Renewal Pricing
NameSilo's registration and renewal prices are identical. .com at $9.99/year, year one or year ten. This is the most transparent pricing model in the industry. No surprises, no planning required. What you see is what you pay every year.
Free WHOIS Privacy — Always
NameSilo was one of the first registrars to include free WHOIS privacy, before it became industry standard. Every domain, every TLD, forever included. No annual privacy fee, no opt-in required.
Best for Bulk Domain Management
NameSilo has historically been the go-to for domain investors and large portfolios. Their bulk management tools, CSV import/export, and API are well-developed. Per-domain cost at scale is consistently among the lowest available.
The Interface: Functional, Not Beautiful
NameSilo's UI is dated. Everything works, but it is not a pleasant experience compared to Porkbun or Cloudflare. If you spend a lot of time in the registrar dashboard, factor this in. For set-and-forget domain management, it barely matters.
Verdict: 4/5
Excellent for price and bulk management. The dated UI is the only real friction. A particularly good choice for managing many domains where per-domain cost matters more than interface quality.
